How to come to the Oikosnet Europe office in Brussels
From the airport (Zaventem) To the Oikosnet Europe office.
-
You can take a taxi. It will cost
you more or less 25 € (depending on the company)
-
The easiest way is to take the
bus 12 (Airport Line) until Schuman - the stop
before the last stop.
(Be careful not to
take the
Bus BZ which also goes to Brussels but doesn't stop at
Schuman)
To find it, follow the BUS signs
The trip takes about 25-35 minutes
Line 12 ("Airport Line") is operated from Monday to Sunday
from 5:45 until about 11 PM.
Average frequencies (Winter timetable) : 20 minutes (Monday to
Friday during daytime, and Sunday in the early evening), 30 minutes (evening,
saturday and sunday).
Fares: 3 € (The ticket is valid one hour on the whole STIB/MIVB network. Within
that time, you can change at no cost to any metro, tram or bus line.)
When you leave
the bus at the Rond Point Schuman you will see a gigantic star-shaped office
building, still under construction (the future EU headquarters). Our office is
just behing that building on Boulevard Charlemagne 28. It is just a 200-300
meters walk.
From the bus stop to the office you can come either by rue de la Loi or by Rue
Archimède and rue Stévin ( more or less same distance)
From the train station
Bruxelles Midi
You take the metro at the station
Bruxelles Midi
-
Ligne 2 direction Simonis.
-
You change at Arts-Loi/Kunst-Wet.
When the train stops at Art/Loi
walk back on that platform and take the stairs down to the Debroux/Stokkel
train."
-
You take the metro ligne 1A or
1B (same platform) direction
Herrmann-Debroux (1A) and Stockel (1B)
-
you stop at Schuman (second
stop)
Fares: 1,40 €
When you leave the train at Schuman walk back on
that platform to the very last stairs up to the exit that says "Berlaymont" and
looks like a construction site. It actually is but it takes you up almost under
the Berlaymont building where you turn right and then right again after a couple
of meters into Boulevard Charlemagne. There you find us at No. 28 on the left
side. It is only about 100 meters or so.
